Mrs. Mangala Sane is the Director of
"SARGAM SCHOOL OF MUSIC" where she teaches Vocal Classical Music, Harmonium, Keyboard lessons in English for all ages. Mangala has formed the music school since 1989 and since then she is taking music classes in Houston. Mrs. Mangala Sane is 'Sangeet Virashad' from Bombay Gandhrva Mahavidyalaya School. Mangala has translated all music in English and she teaches children from ages 5 and above and adults. She gives Harmonium and Keyboard lessons in English and Also she taught classical and Variety of Light Music. She has won several prizes at School and College level. At the age of 10 she sang before 10,000 people for the President of India, "Dr. Rajendra Prasad" for the ' silver jubilee' celebration of "Bhave High School", Poona, India. She was 'All India Radio' artist in Bombay. She has given performances for TV South Asia in Houston. She has a group of professional musicians under the name 'Kal Ki Yaade' available for private parties. Mangala has performed in Houston, Austin, Laredo and San Antonio. They sing old and new Hindi film songs, pop songs and Urdu Gazals. Mrs. Mangala Sane got selected on " Radio Ceylon" under the Direction of Manmohan Krishna in the Program Called "Cadbury Fulwari" a program for the college students at that time and Mangala sang a Hindi song " Lagaja Gale". Mrs Mangala Sane is available as a solo artist for the performance of "Classical Music" and variety of light music. She can travel out of town for the performances. She can also give solo "Bhajan" programs for Pooja, Havans and other religious occasions.

Her husband "Shrikant Sane" is a good performer and he sings Mukesh songs and he gives performances with Mangala Sane.

'Tabala, American Drums and Guitar': Mandar Sane is Mrs. Mangala Sane's son. He has learnt to play Tabala from renowned teachers "Hemant Navidikar" and few others since he was 6 years old. He is very talented young boy and has given several performances with his mother and also with professional artists visiting from India. He has played Tabla for performances of students of "Sargam School of Music". Mandar has his own rock band "Mass" with four boys who are very talented artists. Mandar has learnt to play drums since the age of 7 and has played drums and Perecussion in the school band in the Middle school and Alief Hasting high school and has won several prizes in school competitions. He has also won first and second prize in the "Region Band Competition" of all the Houston schools. Mandar also composes his own music and plays guitar and gives basic guitar lessons, tabala lesson and American Drums lessons in English. Mandar also plays " Punjabi Dhol" for the Weddings. Our charges are very reasonable for classical vocal Music and Instrumental Music lessons and we are willing to work with people. We also take our students to perform in the "Asian Festival","I.C.C. Festival", "Mecca Festival" and other different organizations from India.
